Fun with Dada

I'm posting for the first time from Tim's phone. It's so much easier to post pictures but harder and slower for typing. I might just go online to edit my posts later. Hooray for iPhone apps.

We used to be just Tif-n-Tim but now we have a little Nainoa to share with each other.

We met in 2009 in Tokyo at the famous Shibuya Crossing outside of Star bucks on the way to Tif's birthday party. Tif had made friends with a samoan rugby player and his wife from NZ and they invited Tim (a team mate) to come along with them to Tif's birthday party. The rest is history and written in our first blog entry. :)

The Night We Met

When I first saw Tim I thought he was married so I didn't really get a good look at him. I was under the impression that all foreign rugby players in Japan were married. He kept trying to flirt with me and after some encouragement from his friend he said to me, "I know you wanna kiss me!" I looked him straight in the eye and said, "No. I don't. Why would I want to kiss you, you're married!"

The Night of the first Kiss

We were lying on the grass on a little hill talking and then it happened. This was Tim's 3rd attempt. Finally success! lol.

The day after "I love you"

It was January 3, 2010 and it was Tim's birthday.

We were surfing at "Freddie's" (by v-land) the sun was setting and the waves were nice and fun. Tim swam over and proposed in the water! When we got out of the water he ran to the car and came back with my ring. :)

Expecting

Family

One of the most amazing experiences in my life thus far, giving birth to our son. Tim had the brilliant idea to take a lamaze class! Our teacher was so awesome and we learned so much. I'd recommend taking a class to everyone. It really prepared us for birthing.

I don't know where to start. We love him so much and he is such a special little boy. We're having so much fun and feel so lucky to be his mom and dad.
