My Little Boy

Nainoa is turning into such a little boy and is hardly a baby anymore.  It's so fun to see his personality develop and to see him learning new things.  Here's what he's been up to lately.

-on skype he was standing, leaning against the couch in front of the computer, waving with one hand, and then he started lifting both hands and holding them together over his head, showing off.

-He holds his bottle with one hand.  I know that a lot of babies can already do this but I haven't given Nainoa too many bottles so he's a little behind.

-He's starting to discover that he can stand on his own with holding onto anything for a second.

-Nainoa made a new friend.  Her name is Esme and she's the same age as him.  The other day we were at a cafe and they were sitting in their own strollers next to each other and they started holding hands.  THEN she brought her face close to his fingers and tried to get him to touch her eye.  This was probably her way of making up the fact that she tried to gouge his eye out last week saturday.

-He can also climb up the stairs at the playground.  He hadn't been by any stairs before this, I put him by them and he started to climb! :)

He's going to make 9 months tomorrow!  Although technically it will be in two days because Aus is a day ahead of Hawaii.
